During the fall 1974 and spring 1975 semesters, I was among eight students who were the editors of a college literary magazine published by City College of San Francisco. The traditional name of the magazine was The Forum, but from 1972 through 1977 the annual publication was given a different name each year. The 1975 name was Double Mirage, named after one of my four poems that appeared in the periodical that year.
Amongst the contributors, a handful of amazing talents including the future Pulitzer Prize nominee, Seaborn Jones, Ann Nelson Gleeson, Loraine Ming Tong, Ferris Gillespie, and others.
Most of us had been together before, at H. Brown Miller’s creative writing class during the spring semester.
